WELCOME!

Hello and Welcome.

I'd like to share with you a portion of the riches of the Catholic faith - PRAYERS!

The prayer which Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Redeemer had taught us, the "OUR FATHER" in Mathew Ch. 6:9-13 & Luke 11:2-4, is a prayer that covers all our needs, both spiritually and physically.

The other prayers are prayers given to mystics, revealed by Jesus Christ; while others are prayers composed by the Church, Popes, priests, religious and laymen.

We all can of course pray in our own ways but I personally find these prayers enlightening most specially during times when I am unable to pray. There are also indulgences and promises attached to certain prayers.

So I hope and pray that you will print out some of the prayers and really pray these from the heart. Jesus and Mary always asks us to pray from the heart. I firmly believe quality (praying slowly and meditating on the words) is much better than "saying" lots of prayers without meaning.

Praying gives us a chance to thank God for everything He has given us. It also gives us an opportunity to ask God for things that we think we need (remember: God always answers prayers, not necessarily right away, He may say 'wait', 'no' or 'yes', but always in His time.) We always have to trust in God's wisdom even though it is so hard to understand most specially when we are going through rough times.

It is always necessary to pray for strength and courage to be bold in proclaiming and living the Gospel because of the times that we live in, where so many are focused on the world, evil and money. We will sooner or later realize that only God can give us true happiness and freedom.

We also have to pray for our own relatives, friends and for conversion of all sinners throughout the world. We are all one body in Christ, our Lord with one Creator, God the Father. Just think, if no one prays for sinners (which we all are), how will we/they ever change? It is only through God's grace and prayers that we, sinners change. So let us also pray for the conversion of sinners.

Let us not forget to pray for the souls in Purgatory, the souls of our own relatives, friends and all those who have gone before us, that God will grant them eternal happiness in His heavenly Kingdom. The Holy Souls in Purgatory, if prayed for will ever be grateful to those who had helped them (through prayers) reach Heaven. I firmly believe that they will always pray for their benefactors in return.

LET US DECIDE FOR GOD NOW!

Thank you and God bless you and all your loved ones.
